“Your story is currently the best read piece on the BBC website…nationally”
That was the message that my client, Rebecca Dowdeswell, sent to me when I was somewhere in the middle of the Peak District last Friday.
What story you may ask?
Well, it is a true David And Goliath one, and if you are so inclined, you can be a part of it.
By tea time Friday evening, NKD Waxing’s ongoing battle with the cosmetics giant L’Oreal had over 1.7m views on the BBC website.
“That’s a staggering number. People are really interested,” our contact at the Beeb told us.
It had been a long time coming.
Some 3 months since the campaign began, during which time we’ve hit local, regional and national print presses. Plus local radio.
However, this is the highlight so far.
